The organizational structure in the hotel is is common for a hotel from this standard. First in
the hierarchy is general manager who leads the household
manager,chambermaids,technicians,supervisor minibar,cleaners
Manager housekeeping is looking after the order and quality of the service.He follows for the
technical resources,detergents,cleaning machines,uniforms.The boss of this sector makes
the work shifts for his staff.In the hotel there isn’t positions like head chambermaid or
controller so their functions are attached to these of the house keeping manager..The hall
chambermaid is looking for the cleanless of the reception,coference
hall,floors,stairs,corridors.The floor chambermaid cleans rooms changes the household
linen,takes off the dust,disinfects.
The connections between the different branches of the hotel are due to a telephone
system.The work day for the housekeeping is effective because on the start of the day the
manager makes meeting to his staff and gives orders and informationl ike a protocols with
rest and leaving guests of the hotel.After that the chambermaids take their loaded trolleys
and go to each floor.They start always from the reserved rooms.
On each floor there is chambermaid office where is stacked the stock,cleaning machines.In
the office ther is divisions for the clean and dirty linen and where the sanitary standard is

Is equipped with three shelfsfor sheets,towels,shampoos.This practice is very useful for me
because she gives basic knowledge about the work in the housekeeping.At the firs days of
my practice I only observed the chambermaid how she was cleaning the room.After that she
permitted my to clean alone some room and from his words I’ve done ir very well.When you
clean some room you follow technology.First when you enter in the room you open the
window for a fresh air,change the bed sheets,range the bed,dry the bed and chech the floor
for spots,changes the used cosmetics in the bat,check the toilet and the recycle bins,clean
the astrays,clean dusts from tge wood surfaces.The rate for cleaned rooms per
chambermaid is 15.Onebed room is cleaned for20 minutes,twobed room for 30
minutes,appartment 40 minutes.If the chambermaid see some damage in the room she
must call the reception to announce it and they call the technician to fix it.The lost things are
put in a bags with the numbers of the rooms and the name of the guest .If he search it the
hotel send the found thing for his account.Like interestin occasion from the practice of the
chambermaid I heard one which was very funny.When one of the guests had left the rooms
she got to his room to check if something miss.So she checked the toilet and saw that the
brush is not there and reported this to reception.When the receptionist told to the eglish to
get back or to pay the brush he chosed to give it back.
